Exterior painting

Exterior house painting in Melbourne’s east and the Yarra Ranges

A good exterior repaint protects your home as much as it smartens it up. We do the prep properly, choose the right paint system for each surface and finish to a standard we guarantee.

What we paint

Every outside surface, prepared for the weather

Melbourne’s mix of hot sun, cold snaps and wet winters is hard on paint, and the Yarra Ranges adds shade, damp and moss. We match the preparation and product to each surface so the finish holds up for years, not seasons.

FAQ

Exterior painting questions

Read all FAQs →

How long does an exterior repaint take?

Most single-storey homes take one to two weeks, depending on size, preparation and the weather. You’ll get a timeframe with your quote.

What’s the best time of year to paint outside?

Spring to autumn is ideal, but we paint year-round when conditions allow. Paint needs dry surfaces and mild temperatures to cure, so we watch the forecast and reschedule rather than rush.

Do you repair damaged timber before painting?

Yes. Filling, patching and small timber repairs are part of our prep. If we find anything bigger, we’ll flag it before we start.

Can you paint render, brick and metal?

Yes. Each needs a different primer and paint system. For face brick, we’ll talk through whether painting or sealing is the better option.

Planning an exterior repaint?

George will come out, look over the surfaces and give you a clear, written quote. No obligation.
