1988
The year Eastend Painting started in Melbourne’s east.
Our story
George started Eastend Painting in 1988 with a simple idea: do the preparation properly, use good paint, and leave every house cleaner than you found it.
Word of mouth did the rest. Repaints led to referrals, referrals led to builders and architects, and before long the crew were looking after schools, shopping centres and council buildings alongside family homes.
Today Eastend Painting works right across the eastern suburbs and the Yarra Ranges. The business has grown, but the approach hasn’t changed: George still quotes jobs himself, and the standard is the same whether it’s one bedroom or a whole campus.

The team
George and the crew
George visits every job before it’s quoted and checks it before it’s handed over. He leads a small, experienced crew who know his standards and work to them, whether they’re on a ladder in a hallway or a lift on a four-storey facade.
You’ll have one number for the whole job, and it’s George’s.

Every quote starts with a site visit, so the price reflects the real job and there are no surprises.

We prepare properly
Most paint failures start with poor prep. We clean, sand, fill and prime before any colour goes on.

We protect your property
Floors, furniture, gardens and roofs are covered, and the site is tidied at the end of each day.

We use quality paint
Paint systems chosen for the surface and the conditions, not the cheapest tin on the shelf.

We work safely at height
Scaffolding, lifts and access equipment set up for the site, and fully insured.

We stand behind it
Our workmanship is guaranteed. If something isn’t right, we come back and fix it.
